Adult School Class – January/February

On Sunday, January 6, the Adult Sunday School Class begins Unit 2 of the Winter 2018-19 quarter. The second unit in the series is “Loving God by Trusting Christ”. The weekly lessons are as follows:

January 6 – Hold Fast to God’s Love – To embrace the responsibility of relating to others in a genuinely Christian manner.

January 13 – Submit to God in Love – To repent and change the attitudes and behaviors that keep us mired in conflicts and disputes so that we may live in friendship with God.

January 20 – Submit to God in Christ – To practice our devotion to Christ daily in the ordinary things of life and to do our best at it.

January 27 – Devote All to Christ – To learn to reset our mind-defaults to the way Jesus views things.

February 3 – Renounce Everything for Christ – To explore what it means to “press on” toward the heavenly prize.

The class meets from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 10:45 a.m. each Sunday in the classroom off the Fellowship Hall. Please come join us!
